Groin stretch 1

July 25th, 2006
  • Step your right foot forwards to the little finger side of your right hand with the toes pointing forwards.
  • Let the body and breathing enter into a relationship.
  • Let the knee move out a little just enough for the chest to come through.
  • As you stay open to this relationship allow the groin to relax and the buttock/hip to release allowing you head and elbows to come closer to the floor as the release unfolds.
  • Stay for 20-30 seconds or10-20 breaths.
  • Repeat for left leg.


Experiment

Let the knee move further forwards and backwards (towards your chin towards, your toes) to see how the stretch moves.
