Book now for Thai retreat
October 5th, 2006
Floating retreat centre in incredible surroundings.
November the 7th for 10 days, with Jim Tarran
* This retreat is on a remote, beautiful lake in a national park with floating bamboo bungalows for accommodation.
* It’s an extraordinary location surrounded by a prehistoric jungle and giant limestone mountains.
* Two sessions of yoga practice are provided each day plus meditation, mantra and pranayama.
* There will be ample time for exploring nature, swimming, kayaking, relaxation and massages from the on-site masseur.
* Thai food is cooked on site and fresh fruit pineapple, papaya, melon and young coconuts to drink are served throughout the day.
* On this remote lake deep in the jungle there are only two residences – our one and an old Thai fisherman who lives at the other end of the lake some 10km away.
* Amazing caves on the opposite shore of the lake just 5 mins by kayak.
* It’s one of the only places in the world where you can literally dive out of bed (into the bath-warm lake)
* Butterflies and ridiculously pink dragonflies abound and there are no mosquitoes or black flies on the lake.
* Dick and Beth, who run the location, are two of the most interesting people you could meet – warm, generous and open, with an intimate love of the jungle.
