Mantra, meditation and asana

jimYoga is not a one hit wonder and so there is no shortcut to its goal of integration on every level. There are things that can be done, that can be immediately helpful, both in restoring some of our overspent energy and in terms of regaining a sense of centre.

Yoga uses a great many tools; meditation, mantra and asana (postures) are three of the best known and most effective. All three serve well yoga’s ultimate aims of internal peace, clarity and increased vigour. Yoga is an art and it is essential that one takes direct teachings from a teacher from time to time so that your experience can be guided and illuminated.
