One week at Casa Villatella, Liguria, Italy, from July 2nd, with Tabitha Tarran
This yoga retreat is in an incredible villa nestled in the wooded slopes above a valley, with stunning views down to the river below and up to the hills and mountains around.
It is newly built, luxurious and the experience is very much like being at an exclusive house party. There is a swimming pool, an outside yoga deck and an indoor yoga space.
Ten minutes walk up the mountain is an excellent restaurant and so dinner will sometimes be at the house and some evenings we will go to the restaurant instead. The views in every direction are incredible! Each room shares a balcony or terrace with one other room, is en-suite and has tea making facilities.
The break is from July 2nd for one week so the weather in the hills should be perfect. There is a pool to cool off in and lovely walks all around. Getting there is easy and there are frequent cheap flights available from BA, BMI and Easyjet (booking well in advance can be helpful). Either fly to Nice in France (the nearest airport, an hour’s drive away), or travel by train to Ventimiglia in Italy.
Tabitha will offer her usual daily doses of deep, clear and kind tuition in asana, meditation, mantra and pranayama twice daily. Jim Tarran will accompany her and both will be on hand to offer advice and assistance, to talk to about practice where needed.
