January yoga news

December 23rd, 2007

frostWelcome one and all to Vajrasati’s long-awaited Winter newsletter. Like many of you, the Vajrasati community of teachers have had a busy and diverse few months. Retreats, training days, yoga days in the woods, pregnancy yoga training and more, so it’s been a while since we have been settled long enough to write.

Any way, no doubt like us, you have had a busy few months and it’s not unlikely that you are looking forward to getting into a routine again for your practice and study. After the festive season upon us, practice seems even more important than ever to keep a sense of buoyancy and centre. We have included, therefore, a list of practice events and class dates for the next few months to help you plan a regular Sadhana (practice) right through into the Spring.

This month’s news also includes:
• Yoga holidays 2008:
Sabina, Molino Del Rey
• Vajrasati teacher training: The Vajrasati recently acquired certification with the yoga alliance as a 500 hour teacher training program.
Dates for new enrolment, how to apply.
• Poetry and prose to inspire and uplift the Spirit in our inspiration section: Coming in from the cold, Delight, A leaf for hand in hand, The absolute
• Practice feature: mantra yoga.

May we all be content, honest and open
