The classes will explore all aspects of the yoga path from seated meditation (dhyana), body-work (asana), chanting (mantra) and breath- work (pranayama).
Jim's twenty one years experience in the yoga world, including 11 years running yoga teacher training courses, means that his in-depth knowledge of the full range of yogic disciplines will be available to deepen the practice of anyone from novice to long-term yoga practitioner.
Whether you want to understand the mechanics of the postures, gain a deeper understanding of anatomy or a clearer understanding of the history and philosophy of the subject, you'll have a chance to do so on this retreat.
Yoga is relaxing and fun and it is these two principals that best characterise the classes you will enjoy on this rich and uplifting break.
Between sessions there will be plenty of time to indulge in a range of treatments (osteopathy, reflexology, shiatsu), relax by the pool or take a stroll in the beautiful valley.
There will be a couple of steam room/sauna sessions and there's a hydrotherapy pool (a midnight star-gazing dip is highly recommended).
We'll have a poolside cineama night too!
