Gentle Yoga for ME and CFS
A gentle yoga class tailored to the needs of those managing and recovering from ME and Chronic Fatigue, but open to anyone who is looking for a gentle start to the week. Expect classes to include breath oriented movement, restorative poses, and an exploration of practices such as Mantra (chanting) and Meditation, (as well as yoga philosophy) as we explore the relationship between body, mind and wellbeing. The group is small, friendly and informal, and students are encouraged to identify and work with what feels appropriate in terms of personal energy rather than keeping up with the demands of a teacher or percieved internal or external pressures. The class aims to stop at 11.45, when there will be an opportunity for a cup of tea and time for any questions and /or informal discussion.
