Kathy Gullet - 500 hour certificate

Kathy has an enthusiastic and encouraging approach to teaching yoga. She leaves her students with the same uplifted feeling she experiences while practicing Vajrasati yoga.

She feels that an exploratory attitude can help us to deepen our awareness and develop a sense of freedom and strength, both physically and mentally. Ultimately this will enable us to stay centred and become more resilient and calm in our everyday lives.

Kathy has practiced various styles of yoga since 2000 including Iyengar and Scaravellii and has found that Vajrasati embodies all that she loves about yoga.

Quotes

on asteya (one of the five yamas)…
‘Any selfish act is acting without asteya, it is taking somehow, maybe taking someone else’s choice or freedom or opinion. It is about being aware not just of myself but of others, how do I interact with others (for instance not jumping in during a conversation, which I do too often).
There is an enormous aspect of letting go, especially for me, letting go of a need to control. It is basically trust.’
