This is an onging course of 6 weeks, we then restart. I dont break for school holidays.

It is an intermediate course but beginners are very welcome. We start with a short meditaion and practice a mixture of pranayama, seated and standing asanas and always end with a yoga nidra and sometimes a little chanting.

The classes are fun and informal but also deep, calming and relaxing. I use adjustments, imagery and metaphor to help you to move more deeply into the poses.

This is a lovely and intimate class that takes place in my home every week in 6 week blocks.  I run one class at 9.30 till 10.30 and then another at 11.00am till 12.00pm

There is only space for 4 people in each group but I can always create another group if there are too many people.  We do a mixture of soft and more challenging and both groups are mixed ability. I use adjustments to help you to ease into the asanas. We start with a short relaxation and always end with Yoga Nidra. Both groups are friendly and fun as well as deep and calming.

On resistance in practice…
‘In asana practice we may find an obvious resistance such as a strong stretch in a muscle. We can choose to ignore the sensation, usually resulting in totally the opposite result and an almost compulsive fixation with the sensation. Or we can chose to move ourselves into the sensation and work with it which ironically allows us to release from the sensation and let it go.’
