I came in touch with an essence of Vajrasati yoga through one of Vajrasati Yoga's senior teacher's Khadine Morcom. Once I sensed the essence, I wanted to explore the source. After some years of traveling, my own personal searching, experimenting and observing I came back and started with Vajrasati Teacher Training. The focus of the course is not only on physical asana but a deep understanding of the philosophy of yoga including Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. The holistic approach, of the school, emphasises that the energy of the student be guided towards liberation/freedom (sanskrit मोक्ष mokṣa).
I qualified to teach yoga to children in 2008 with 'Calm for Kids' and since then have done some additional courses in India. I currently teach yoga to children. I have found a deep passion in this work and the focus on 'purity' is something I am looking forwards to now extend to adults as well. I was trained as a massage therapist and done several different courses including some in Ayurvedic therapies. Both Ayurveda and Yoga teaching is the same - Unite ourselves with our highest nature. It is through this union that we reconnect with physical, pranic, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies to help us to bring harmony into our lives. This is why I like to work with an “Inner child” of an adult in the yoga field, beside my work with children.
We all are interconnected in ONE, swimming in that ocean of energy and I found that Vajrasati has opened this new door to me.
