Faye Brunning
Faye’s enquiry of yoga was founded as a curious teenager which led her on an open exploration of different styles and schools. Faye has now been practising for over 20 years and the time became apparent in 2015 to start teaching and studying yoga. She has since felt honoured to have been able to open space for students or all ages in preschools, schools, charities, communities abroad and locally.
As a continual student of yoga Faye felt the calling to join the Vajrasati kula and delve deeper in the vastness of ‘what is yoga?’. With a continual fascination of consciousness and how we connect to the delicate strands of who we are.
Faye gently guides an honest and individual exploration which utilises elements of meditation, prāṇāyāma and āsana to encourage a sense of śraddhā́ (trust) and īśvaraīśvara (surrender) in our journey, resulting in a deeper connection, renewed sense of self and aliveness. These elements help us to stay grounded and embodied, to assist and support us while caring for self and building community in a friendly and authentic way.
