Gabriella Cook
Gabriella is a yoga teacher and forever-student who has been using yoga, mindfulness and meditation for over a decade as a means to self awareness and enhanced psychological and spiritual wellbeing. Gabriella completed her 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga in Rishikesh, India and since then has been teaching Vinyasa Flow in Brighton. She is also a qualified pre & post natal yoga teacher. Gabriella considers yoga a way of life that is transformative way beyond the physical practice of asanas.
‘Yoga is a journey of self discovery, love and acceptance. The perfection lies not in the aesthetic of the posture, but in continued practice, self awareness and having a positive attitude towards growth and change. With this, and with connecting to our breath, yoga moves beyond exercise and becomes a moving meditation.’
Gabriella believes in yoga as a personal and individual journey and in encouraging her students to find their own rhythm and flow to create a practice that is suitable and enjoyable for them. Most of all she believes in having a positive attitude and good sense of humour and fun to characterise and guide her practice. If you fall down, laugh it off and try again, where is the fun in perfection?
