Sam Roy
Coming from a dance background, which brought about major injury, my physical practice combines a strong sense of discipline - but with awareness - together with a deep respect for what the body has to teach us. I have learnt that our injuries and illnesses can be the greatest opportunities.
As a student of the Tibetan Kagyu Lineage, the practices and philosophies of Tibetan Buddhism profoundly inform my approach to contemporary yoga. The purpose being ultimately to experience deep transformation and to connect with our original uncontrived and blissful state.
I live in Brighton with my daughter & husband teaching locally, and offer annual retreats as an opportunity to deepen our experience, in carefully selected beautiful locations. Please take a look and get in touch.
